Technical information about this website’s accessibility
The Adria Hotel is committed to making its websites accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) version 2.2 AA standard, due to the following non-compliances (and/or) the following exemptions.
Non-accessible content
The content is non-accessible for the following reason(s):
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
- Some images don’t contain alternative text to describe the image which does not meet WCAG version 2.2 AA – 1.1.1 Non-text Content
- Video content integrated on the website does not provide an Audio Description as required by WCAG Version 2.2 AA – 1.2.5 Audio Description (Prerecorded)
- Certain images on the website contain hardcoded text, which does not meet WCAG version 2.2 AA – 1.4.5 Images of Text
- External components linked to the website may not be fully compliant with the WCAG version 2.2 AA standard, such as our virtual tour
- Despite the utmost care in building our content, some image and text combinations may not present a proper contrast between the text and background. WCAG version 2.2 AA – 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum)
Disproportionate burden
We have determined that there is a disproportionate burden to meet all the requirements for the following reasons:
- Making improvements would exceed budget for the year and leave the department unable to do other work – and would not significantly improve things for disabled users.
The content is not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
- PDFs or other content published before 23 September 2018 are out of scope of the regulations.
What we’re doing to improve accessibility
The Adria Hotel has partnered with D-EDGE, a hospitality-specific web agency, which has invested thousands of hours of specialised engineering work to improve accessibility on its website templates, including the solution used to produce the pages you’re currently browsing. The current template was carefully retrofitted to the best possible accessibility level, with great care on proper keyboard-based navigation, enhancement of text contrast and interaction with assistive technology. This is a continuous process that will keep improving and refining while the website is available.
Preparation of this accessibility statement

This website was last tested on [2026-02-10]. The test was carried out by D-EDGE Hospitality Solutions
We used this approach to deciding on a sample of pages to test: The homepage, Rooms & suites and Contact page were tested both via automated tools (WAVE) and by human inspection to evaluate the compliance with the WCAG 2.2 principles, with focus on keyboard navigation and information legibility via assistive technologies. The screen reader used for testing is NVDA
