Spring & Summer Afternoon Tea at The Adria

From 6th March, we welcome the arrival of our Spring & Summer  Afternoon Tea, a seasonal expression inspired by lightness, balance, and the gentle transition into early summer. Thoughtfully crafted by our chefs, the new menu celebrates delicate textures, vibrant flavours, and refined presentation, using carefully selected ingredients that reflect the freshness of the season.

Guests can expect a harmonious progression of classic finger sandwiches, freshly baked plain and fruit scones served with Dorset clotted cream and preserves, and an elegant selection of spring-inspired sweets — all designed to be enjoyed at an unhurried pace. The experience may be complemented with a glass of Lanson Le Black Reserve Champagne or Saicho Sparkling Tea, offering a contemporary alternative to the traditional pairing.

Our Spring Afternoon Tea continues to reflect The Adria’s philosophy of discreet luxury and attentive, personal service, set within the calm surroundings of our South Kensington townhouse.

Woodland Afternoon Tea at The Adria

Available from 10 August, step into an enchanting woodland retreat and join us at The Adria as we celebrate the centenary of A. A. Milne’s timeless stories. Inspired by the charm, wonder and gentle nostalgia of the English countryside, our Woodland Afternoon Tea invites guests of all ages to reconnect with the magic of childhood through an elegant and imaginative experience.

Delicate pastries, handcrafted sweets and savoury creations draw inspiration from woodland adventures, treasured friendships and the simple pleasures of nature, all served within the intimate surroundings of our boutique townhouse in South Kensington. Whether reliving fond memories or creating new ones, our Woodland Afternoon Tea is a heartfelt tribute to storytelling, curiosity and the enduring appeal of one of Britain’s most beloved literary legacies.

To mark Afternoon Tea Week, every guest enjoying our Woodland Afternoon Tea between 10 and 31 August will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of Champagne or, as an alcohol-free alternative, a glass of sparkling tea.
